Dwarf Jewels (T&M Dwarf Jewels)   various colors in series, covering a full range, some have white eyes 10-12 in., very compact, more semi-dwarf than miniature Sold by Thompson & Morgan. Said to bloom earlier.
Edith tenuisecta lavender-pink (RHS 77C) 3 in. More compact than species typical and more floriferous. Found by Edith Eddleman NC USA in her garden.
Edith Eddleman   bright cerise-red 25cm More cold hardy in UK. Hertle (1999) states it originated with Bob Brown in 1994 and introduced by him in 1996. Apparently named for Edith Eddleman NC USA as is cultivar 'Edith'.

Petals heavily noticed, narrow, not giving as full an effect as the modern, mass-market hybrids - and that is not all bad. It almost gives a spring Phlox or Plumbago-type look.
